I have enjoyed this book because it was so amazing how he he is facing the hard times through his life.

The book stood out for me as it was very touching to my heart and very emotional.I enjoyed because he started of as cant do any thing which made him not believe that he is capable to do it but in the end made it right.In the end he was the most famous one was very good because he achieved his goal.

the story has changed because it has made me more aware of people that  are deformed.The book stood out me very well and how he always got bullied was amazing how he could manage it and made friend s even though hes face looked weird.

I think August  was pretty good and what i enjoyed about him is that he never just did not want to go on camp but he did and he got bullied a lot by 7 graders he hurt himself but he was fine 

This book is very recommended to read.

Stop Motion Project

The grade 6s are doing a project about superheros and what we have to do is we need to create a fantasy character that u created with clay and we had to video ur guy doing somthing and we have to do voice overs which we have to change our  tone voice.We chose a guy called Doctor Frost and he shoots out ice and can freeze hot people.I would not change anything  because our guy is perfect the body is perfect.The videoing was the best.My fustrastions  is that i dont know if we are gonna finnish

On Wednesday we visited the grade 4s.To teach them how to be safe on messaging to their friends.They need to be care full on IM.Facial expression the way you feel to the message tahts why you use emojicons.The tone how you feel towards the message.

BLOG OF SCIENCE EXPO

Every year i get excited for Science Expo.Ethan and I have done it together for 2 years.This year our topic for Grade 5 was energy.We decided to build a plastic house using recycable items like plastic bottles.We built five things  and  they were a eco wall, solar bulb, solar kettle, eco cooler and plants in a bottle.The reason we chose this is so we can not waste electricity and money on lights,aircons and other household supplies.

A day in the life and home of a child in an informal settlement.

I wake up once again out of my wet,damp bedding and my tummy is aching from lack of food as I did not have any food the night before. My feet are icy as I cannot feel my toes. I wish I had just one pair of warm socks that would release my pain. I sleep on the floor and I have a sore back when I wake up from the hard ground that I sleep on.

 I am desperate to go to school to educate myself so I can provide for myself one day, but most days I get told to go home as I do not have the correct school uniform. The days I am allowed in the overcrowded classroom, very little learning happens as there is one teacher and sixty children. I don't get very much attention. Not all of them are wanting to learn. My favourite part of the day is when the golden bell rings for break and we have an opportunity to play soccer. Some days the other boys get into physical fights. 

My day ends at school and on my route home I walk the streets and scratch in bins hoping to find something to eat. I hope my mom gets the time to stop at the community soup kitchen for something to eat. I pray that my parents will stop fighting over money for alcohol and drugs.I love my parents but my father abuses my mom and we get neglected. I know one day my parents will get a good job and earn a better income. Every birthday I want a pair of soccer boots but my dream ends in disappointment. I hope my dad comes home safely and does not get hurt as he works very late at night. The crime in the area is high and from 6pm onwards you hear gun shots and screams. I do not feel safe in our tin shack. I don't sleep very well from all the noises in the township. 

When I get home I need to bath as the water is freezing cold as we don't always have electricity. My sister and I get sick sometimes because we shower with cold water. I wish that my dad would be able to get some more roof sheets to fix our roof as this will stop the rain pouring in and maybe some carpets could make our little shack warmer in the winter. Life would be easier if we had running taps close by and a toilet. We have to walk very far to use the toilet and it is so dirty inside. I often feel like we live like animals and we are just lucky if we survive.
